Terms of Service

Micro but Mighty Bakers ("MBMB," "we," "us," or "our") operates a website and directory (the "Service") that allows independent home bakers ("Bakers") to create public profiles, and allows visitors ("Customers" or "you") to browse, search, and discover Bakers in their area. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").

MBMB is a directory and discovery platform. We help Customers find Bakers and help Bakers get discovered. We are not:

• A party to any transaction between a Baker and a Customer
• A manufacturer, seller, preparer, or deliverer of any food product
• A kitchen inspector, licensing authority, or compliance verifier
• A guarantor of any Baker's food safety practices, licensing status, product quality, or business practices

Inclusion of a Baker in search results, browse listings, or featured placements does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or verification of that Baker, their compliance with applicable law, or the safety or quality of their products.

All sales, communications, and agreements regarding products occur directly between the Baker and the Customer. MBMB is not responsible for the outcome of any such transaction.

If you create a Baker profile, you agree that:

• You are solely responsible for complying with all cottage food laws, permits, registrations, health department requirements, and any other applicable local, state, or federal regulations governing the preparation and sale of your products
• You will accurately represent your products, ingredients, allergens, and business practices on your profile
• MBMB does not verify your licensing, permit status, or compliance with any law, and your inclusion on the Service should not be interpreted by you or by Customers as such verification
• You are responsible for appropriate labeling of your products as required by your jurisdiction (for example, allergen declarations and "made in a home kitchen" disclaimers where applicable)
• You will maintain accurate, current contact information so Customers can reach you regarding orders, questions, or concerns

If you use the Service to find or contact a Baker, you acknowledge that:

• You are purchasing directly from an independent Baker, not from MBMB
• MBMB has not inspected the Baker's kitchen, verified their licensing, or guaranteed the safety, quality, or legality of any product
• You should use your own judgment, ask the Baker any questions you have about their practices, licensing, or ingredients, and communicate directly with the Baker regarding any order, delivery, allergy concern, or dispute
• Any dispute regarding a purchase is between you and the Baker

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@microbutmightybakers.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

Bakers retain ownership of the content they submit (photos, descriptions, menus, etc.) but grant MBMB a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the Service for the purpose of operating the platform. MBMB may remove any profile or content that violates these Terms, is inaccurate, or is reported as inappropriate, at our discretion.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MBMB from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or, for Bakers, your products or business practices.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
